It all started when…

We were planning our wedding when we realized how much we enjoyed hunting for unique treasures at local vintage shops and creating tablescapes that we hadn't seen at weddings. We wanted our wedding to be unique, thoughtful, out-of-the-box, with every table having a different centerpiece and getting creative with our decor. Our collection kept growing and we kind of had a *lightbulb* moment after dinner one night...

What if we shared this passion with the thousands of people coming to St.Augustine annually for weddings and events? Thus came the beginning of Something Borrowed, Something Blue Rentals. We hope we can help add the little details to your special day to make it even more spectacular. Our inventory is growing WEEKLY. We're always on the lookout for new treasures and decor that we feel like would make someones event stand out. Our specialty lies in tablescape design with an extensive collection of colored water goblets, crystalware, modern and rustic charger and dinner plates, as well as centerpiece options. We now have an in house calligrapher who can make custom signage for your event as well!

About the owners...

Ellie has been planning events in multiple cities for years such as, The South Beach Wine and Food Festival, Art Basel Events, tradeshows, worked behind the scenes at St.Augustine Fashion Week, etc. Her extensive experience in the event industry has given her a knack for planning and keen attention to detail.

Michael is the beverage director at The Ice Plant in St.Augustine, FL. Through his many years perfecting his craft he's found a love for unique glassware and bar decor. He has quite the eye for beautiful pieces in which we incorporate into our inventory. Together they make quite the team.
